In honor of our great State of Ohio, songwriter/performer
Celeste Friedman, presents a special program of Ohio stories and songs for all ages.
"O" Is for Ohio! is not only a musical-education program for schools and libraries, but offered in several formats for any age or group.
A Native Ohioan, Celeste brings you stories of Ohio's history, its famous inventors, eight U.S. Presidents from Ohio, the roots of Ohio's industry, the Ohio State flag and symbols, as well as Ohio's role in changing our nation and our world.
She also shares her original songs about the great Buckeye State . . .
Reflecting upon the Ohio River, as one of
the most important passageways of The Underground Railroad,
Ms. Friedman's "Big River" tells the story of
secret codes in song, leading the way to freedom.
Other originals, such as "The Children of Ohio"
and "Down By the Yellow Corn",
express the pure sentiment from this native Ohioan.
For corporate events and state functions,
Celeste also features our state song, "Beautiful Ohio".

"O" Is for Ohio!
The music from Celeste's program is available on CD,
